Brsečine travel guide

About Brsečine: One of the favorite places for a day trip out of Dubrovnik.

The place is full of historic beauty. Here visitors will find Zuzorić family mansion, which dates back to the 16th century.

Nearby there is also a fortified palace from family Ohmučević from the 17th century.

When visiting Brsečine be sure to visit the church of St. George and nearby you'll also find the ruins of a much older church of St. Stephen.
Besides the historic beauty we also recommend spending some time at the beautiful coast.

As well as numerous smaller towns in Croatia, Brsečine also tend to have a negative demographic index. According to the census from the 1857. Brsečine had population of 309, while according to the latest census (2001). only 77 people live in Brsečine.

If you decide to visit this picturesque little town you will not have too many problems finding it as Brsečine is located on the main road that goes from Split to Dubrovnik.
