Strolling thorugh the Arboretum reminds us of walking through a museum of past epochs.
It returns us to a time far away, yet near...it seems as though only a second has past away.
The permanent beauty of the Arboretum has made sure that we will never forget the memories of far, distant lives on this land long ago, the happy and sad moments spent under the watch of trees that are centuries-old, the statues a reminder of our long history.
The Arboretum unselfishly gives us the ability to look at its elegance, along with a free ride away from our reality...The sound of the wind under the rampant branches gives way to the whispers that gives us stories of its scenic past...From a distance, we hear the gallops of a horse and the creaks of the wheels, the songs of pastors, which returns the herd from its pasturage to the nearby village.
Really, it's not that difficult to return to the past, because to this day, the same holy olive trees give the same oil that was strained long ago during the quiet autumn evenings and nights. The church of St. Jerome is at the same place, in the immediate vicinity of the green lodge.
Neptune's fountain hasn't lost any of its magical beauty.
From the lookout, you are still able to look at the same view of the endless waters. While the sun's clock keeps on ticking...
The cold air of the bura reminds us that winter is among us.
